I read "Historia de una escalera" (A: Buero Vallejo) in high school. We did the reading aloud in class, each student made a character. Every time it was my turn to read, I knew I wanted to be an actress, something I couldn't consider at that time. It wasn't until 29 years later that I played my first screen role, in my first short film, "The imp of perverse." Prior to that time I was a marine biologist and teacher. Along the way I became a mother and I also trained and worked as a yoga teacher. One day, walking down the street with my father, I saw a casting call for a short film. I introduced myself and they gave it to me. I never again doubted my profession, my vocation.
